Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Workflow & Automation Consultant to help develop intelligent operational systems that reduce friction in complex business processes and improve overall organizational efficiency.

This engagement centers on evaluating existing operational workflows and implementing technology-driven improvements through automation, structured systems design, and modern AI-enabled tools. The consultant will collaborate directly with leadership to translate strategic initiatives into scalable operational frameworks and digital processes.

The individual best suited for this role is someone who combines technical fluency with systems thinking—someone comfortable diagnosing operational challenges and designing practical solutions that replace manual or fragmented processes with well-structured digital workflows.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Systems Design

• Assess current operational processes to identify opportunities for improved structure, efficiency, and automation.

• Design and implement systems that organize workflows, tasks, and decision points into clear and repeatable processes.

• Develop scalable operational frameworks that support consistent execution across teams.

AI & Automation Integration

• Apply AI-enabled technologies and automation tools to streamline routine tasks and complex workflows.

• Identify opportunities where modern digital tools can improve reliability, speed, and accuracy of operational processes.

• Support the implementation and refinement of automation initiatives.

Process Optimization

• Work closely with leadership to translate business goals into practical operational systems.

• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and operational risk points within existing workflows.

• Recommend improvements that simplify processes and improve long-term scalability.

Systems Coordination

• Ensure that various digital tools and platforms operate cohesively within the organization’s technology environment.

• Assist in testing, deploying, and refining implemented systems.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business needs.

Documentation & Transition Support

• Produce documentation outlining system design, workflows, and implementation guidelines.

• Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving operational systems over time.

• Assist internal teams in adopting and managing newly implemented processes.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience implementing workflow automation, operational systems, or process optimization initiatives.

• Strong familiarity with modern AI-enabled tools and digital productivity platforms.

• Experience evaluating operational processes and developing scalable improvements.

• Ability to translate high-level business objectives into practical systems or workflows.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.

Preferred Background

• Experience working with AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow management systems.

• Prior experience advising organizations on operational efficiency or digital transformation initiatives.

• Background in technology consulting, systems implementation, or product development.

Project Outcomes

The consultant will contribute to initiatives such as:

Compensation Structure

Compensation for this engagement is project-based and tied to the completion of defined deliverables and milestones, rather than hours worked.

Compensation may include a combination of:

• Fixed project compensation

• Milestone-based payments tied to successful implementation phases

• Potential equity participation tied to the success or value creation of the project
